What was your motivation?
My motivation is that I’m 58 years of age. I don’t take any prescribed medications, and I would love to keep it that way. Also, experiencing menopause and the sluggishness that comes with it was motivating.

I found Terry Starks’ Transformation program, and it gave me the spark of energy I needed. He requires 30 minutes of cardio on an empty stomach before breakfast and 30 minutes before bed. I usually get 10k steps daily, so I found the cardio requirement easy. My cardio consisted of the elliptical or power walking seven days a week.

I did experience fatigue some days due to the heat, but I stayed focused. Terry’s motivating emails kept me focused.  I knew my reward would be a Healthier version of me.

How did you change your eating and exercise habits? My eating habits changed by reducing sugar and carbs. I was introduced to roasting my fresh veggies in the oven. I could also air fry, bake, or sautée my protein & veggies.

My weekly meal plans would consist of 4 ounces of meat w/ 1/2 cup of fresh veggies w/ brown rice or 1 cup of fresh vegetables w/ 4 ounces of meat. The five meals I consumed each day kept me full. My metabolism was on fire. Terry Starks also introduced me to vegan options such as Impossible Meat and Beyond Meat. I enjoyed both options and look forward to buying more.
